Did Amir Muhammad aka Harry Billups aka Ashmir kill Biggie Smalls? If you watched Who Shot Biggie and Tupac? then you’re most likely convinced that Muhammad had something to do with Biggie’s murder.  After watching the special, I’m convinced that former LAPD officer, David Mack, worked with Muhammad to kill Biggie.

Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious BIG was murdered on March 9, 1997 in Los Angeles.  Like Tupac, Biggie was killed in a drive-by-shooting.  During the investigation of Biggie’s murder, a composite artist worked with multiple eyewitnesses to develop a drawing of the suspected shooter.

Informants told investigators that the person who shot Biggie belonged to the Fruit of Islam and his name was Amir.  Despite this evidence, Muhammad was never arrested or charged.

 

Muhammad claims that he’s a mortgage broker and says he wasn’t involved in the murder of Biggie Smalls.  Amir and Mack were roommates at the University of Oregon.  After college, him and Mack remained friends.  Muhammad visited Mack in prison proving that they had a close relationship.

Who Shot Biggie and Tupac? reminded us that we know who shot both rappers.  In Biggie’s case, there’s simply not enough evidence to make the charges stick.  Orlando Anderson killed Tupac Shakur.
