    Rest in peace Pastor Shawn Jones.  On Saturday, November 18, 2017, he suddenly passed away.  Media outlets report that Pastor Jones had a heart attack.  He was scheduled to be in Gaffney on Sunday.  His friends and family are showing him a massive amount of love on social media.  Pastor Jones is gone but not forgotten.

    Pastor Shawn Jones and The Believers started singing in 2000.  Last year, the gospel quartet performed in Columbia at the Martin Luther King Jr. gospel festival.  The quartet started signing at the First Baptist Church in Rockford, Alabama.

    Antoine “Fats” Domino has sadly passed away.  The New Orleans singer, best known for “Blueberry Hill” died on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his home in Harvey, Louisiana.  He was 89-years-old.  Fats died on the same day that actor Robert Guillaume passed away.  Domino’s music is timeless and represents everything New Orleans is about.

    When did Fats Domino die?

    The public wasn’t notified about Domino’s death until Wednesday, October 25, 2017 but he died on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.  The actual date of Antoine’s death made headlines because he died on the same day as Robert Guillaume aka Benson.  Like Fats, Guillaume was 89-years-old.
    Domino and Guillaume helped break racial barriers.  Guillaume was the first black actor to win comedy Emmys while Domino was one of the first black musicians to be accepted by white audiences.

    Fats was a piano playing prodigy.  He started playing the piano at juke joints in New Orleans when he was 10-years-old.  Domino had lightning fast fingers.  His brother-in-law thought him how to play the piano and Antoine worked hard and eventually mastered the instrument.

    At a time when black musicians were not accepted by the public, Fats Domino’s music inspired Elvis Presley and the Beatles.

    Kenneth White – Killed By Rock Thrown From Overpass

    Kenneth White is the 32-year-old man who was killed after a rock smashed through his windshield.  Five Michigan teens have been charged with second-degree murder after being accused of throwing the rock from an overpass.  Heavy reports that Kenneth was on his way home from work when the vehicle he was in was struck by the rock.

    The teens are 15 to 17-years-old and are being charged as adults.  County Prosecutor David Leyton explained that he didn’t think this was a deliberate attempt to murder someone.  When you make mistakes like this, you are forced to live with the results of your actions.  If they wouldn’t have thrown the rock, Kenneth would still be alive.

    This story reminds us how important it is to teach our children the difference between right and wrong.  The teens will most likely argue that they were just having fun and didn’t consider outcome of their actions.  This excuse cannot be excepted in a case like this.  There are some actions that are inexcusable.

    Fashion designer Mychael Knight is dead.  He was best known for his appearance on Project Runway‘s third season.  Knight finished fourth in the competition.  Since then he has worked hard to get his company started.  He recently posted a video showing his 2018 Spring and Summer collections.

    Knight introduced his company in 2007 on BET’s Rip The Runway.  He initially appeared on Project Runway in 2006 and then he appeared on Project Runway All-Stars in 2009.  In 2013, he appeared on season 3 of Project Runway All-Stars.

    Mychael was born on April 11, 1978.  He was only 39 when he passed away.  He was born in Germany but grew up in Alabama.  He acquired his taste from the time he spent in Europe and Gianna Versace was one of his idols.

    Knight’s career was taking off.  This story reminds us to live each day like it’s your last because tomorrow is not promised.  Mychael is gone but he’ll never be forgotten.  He left his legacy by sharing his creations with the world.

    In 2008, Mychael launched The K&D Collection, a unique line of classy lingerie.  Knight also launched a fragrance, Majk, a seductive unisex scent.

    People reports that Delilah Rene’s son, Zachariah, committed suicide.  The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.  In an emotional Facebook post, Delilah explains that Zachariah had been suffering with depression for a long time.  His family and friends tried to help him but their efforts were unsuccessful.

    Delilah explained that her heart is broken but she believes that he son is at peace with the Lord.  Rene explained that she will be absent from radio and social media while she grieves.  Burying a child is one of the most difficult experiences a parent can go through.  Delilah ends the post by asking her fans to pray for her beloved Zacky.

    In 2003, Ralphie May rose to fame after his appearance on Last Comic Standing.  While comedian, Dat Phan won the competition, Ralphie proved that he was one of the funniest people in the world.  May is one of the few white comedians accepted by the black community.  In 2005, he appeared on The Big Black Comedy Show alongside Mo’Nique, Vince Morris and Rodman.

    May had major plans for his Las Vegas residency.  He explained that he was sick and tired of Las Vegas being a family destination.  Ralphie advised parents to take their children to Florida for the family vacation and promised to bring unfiltered comedy back to the strip.

    Ralphie is survived by his wife, Lahna Turner.  The couple has two daughters, April and August.  Pray for Lahna.  There’s nothing more difficult than losing a loved one.  Ralphie and Lahna were married for 10 years.  The couple filed for divorce in 2015 but it was never finalized.

    Joshua Hupperterz is the man Jenna Burleigh was last seen with.  Jenna is the Temple student who went missing after a night out at Pub Webb.  The incident occurred on Thursday, August 31, 2017.  Jenna was found dead in a house in Philadelphia.  Jenna’s father posted an emotional message on Facebook.

    School started about a week ago and a tragedy has already occurred.  Joshua is 29 and he’s currently in police custody.  The incident teaches college students that anything can happen.  An innocent night at the bar can turn deadly.  College campuses are not as safe as they need to be.  Philadelphia is a rough city and Temple is located right in the heart of it.

    Yunique Morris is the 15-year-old cheerleader who died after being diagnosed with “Chest Wall Pain” but they were sadly mistaken.  The California high school student’s family is looking for answers.  Chest Wall Pain is a sharp, achy feeling that gets worse when you move your upper body.  The pressure-like feeling is horrible when you take deep breaths or work out.

    Yunique atteneded Weston Ranch High School located in the Weston Ranch subdivision of Stockton, California.  She died due to blood clots in her chest and the San Joaquin General Hospital will definitely be charged with negligence.  The hospital initially diagnosed her with “Chest Wall Pain” and they were clearly wrong.

    Morris went to the hospital a few weeks ago when she first started feeling the chest pain.  The doctor told her it was Chest Wall Pain and gave her medicine.  The antibiotics didn’t help.  The athletic teen continued to feel pain and she couldn’t even go up and down her stairs without losing her breath.

    Yunique and her family went back to the hospital where the doctor told her that the condition wasn’t serious.  She returned home and a day later she passed out.  Her family rushed her back to the hospital where doctors found blood clots in her chest.  A short time later, Yunique passed away.

    Sami Karra killed his daughter, Henriette for dating a Muslim man.  The incident occurred in Ramla, a city in central Israel.  Sami stabbed Henriette to death one day after she graduated high school.  Henriette was 17 and her father is 58.  Two weeks before the incident, Henrietta decided to leave home because of her father’s reaction to her relationship.

    Sami stabbed his daughter in her neck, leaving her dead on the kitchen floor.  When Henriette moved out, she stayed over her boyfriend’s house.  Her parents sent threats to her boyfriend’s family to try to convince her to return home.  Muslims are the fastest growing religious group in the entire world.  The religion is on pace to exceed the number of Christians.

    Sami met his daughter at a friend’s house after she moved out.  He warned her that he was willing to sit in jail to get his point across.  Henriette didn’t budge.  They met with a social worker and she finally returned home.  

    Her boyfriend was in jail and Henriette sent him money.  When she got back home she announced her plan to convert to Islam.  Sami picked up a knife and murdered his daughter.
