Shawty Lo’s friends and family members honored him at a vigil in Atlanta. After his wake, the rapper’s loved ones took his body to his favorite strip club, the Blue Flame Lounge located on Harwell Rd in Atlanta. Scroll down to see casket pictures of the emcee whose real name was Carlos Walker.
Blue Flame was the last place Shawty Lo was seen alive. He passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 around 2 AM. The 40-year-old was on his way home from the strip club. His casket was brought to the club in a hearse on Friday, September 30. the rapper’s funeral was held on Saturday, October 1 at noon.

The 911 call from the incident was recently released and is very difficult to listen to. The operator asked if the driver was still inside the vehicle and the officer explains that he was ejected. The officer further explains that there were two injured women outside the vehicle. Officers later found Shawty Lo, not breathing in the car.
The rapper passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 which was his 40th birthday. It’s not how long your life is that matters, it’s how good it is. The rapper’s loved ones make it clear that he lived a very good life.
